"I'm a stroke survivor with left side paralysis. My left arm Hangs form my shoulder and folds up on me
with my hand balling up into a fist. My left leg dangles from my hip with the added weight of a leg brace 15 pounds to be exact. My hip feels like a turkey drumstick falling off a well done turkey. I can scarcely control my left leg due to spasticity ( they call it) Because its no longer possible to walk with a normal gait, my back chops into my sciatic nerve causing great pain. I take way more medication than I care to all ready however when its possible I get a massage from Kristen at Clearwater Escape. It's a natural relief to my pain. It allows me to function again with a positive outlook. Because I cannot move around normally, my legs and feet tend to retain fluids, another thing relieved from massage. Massage can be for relaxing yes, but its also a medical necessity for some, like me. Massage from Kristen is like spending time in heaven with an Angel. She is caring and compassionate and she will focus on areas in need of extra attention. She's my Florence Nightingale. Do your body and mind a favor and try Massage!"

"I feel like my old self, I don't know what you did, but I have my energy level back again. I went
bowling last night and bowled better than I have in months. I climbed the warehouse stairs twice
yesterday, with my arms loaded and I didn't even have to use the handrails to pull me up. I'm lovin' it!
I haven't done this much house work in a really long time. I feel great! Thank you!" - Teresa, Amboy WA"Kristen, thank you so much for your work on Wednesday. That was the BEST massage that I have ever had. I felt 100% better the next day and I didn't feel like I had been beat up. I look forward to my next appointment!."

What massage has done for me!
Health and fitness has become increasingly important to me and my family as we have matured. I
especially am committed, and compelled to get daily doses of good diet and exercise. Adhering to my
daily plan makes me feel good physically as well as mentally. it gives me a feeling of accomplishment as
my body tomes and crosses into levels of what for me is the best physical shape that I have enjoyed in
my 55 years. The last four years since beginning a regular massage schedule I have really been a time
when I have gained an increasing level of flexibility and energy, even as my body would be expected to
become less flexible and relegated to a recliner rather then jogging flights of stairs and putting my muscles
through a daily routine of strength and resistance. I attribute this added flexibility and energy to
maintaining a regular schedule of massage treatments as a compliment to diet and exercise. For me, a
monthly massage is just right. By the time I near my scheduled massage, my muscles are telling me that
they need to be loosened up again, beyond what stretching alone can provide. For me, massage, exercise
and diet work together to help me maintain the level of health that I enjoy. I have found that massage
gives me back the flexibility and suppleness in my movements after a month of regular workouts. I can
easily feel the flexibility returned after receiving a relaxing, deep massage. when I start my next workout, I
immediately notice the added energy and flexibility that my muscles have regained. I firmly believe that a
body is meant to be in motion and so I make every attempt to minimize the amount of time I spend at my
desk. I have found massage a perfect addition to my exercise program. my family also receives monthly
massage. My wife feels the benefits of massage by added flexibility a regular massage gives her, and my
81 year old father, who looks forward to his appointment, is quick to remind my wife and I of our
appointments if he foresees a scheduling conflict with some other activity. For my family, massage has
become a regular component of maintaining our health. "
